I just can’t stop loving this week. I’m all fired up, excited, passionated and happy. I feel how my nerves are stressed, but in a good way, and I wish I didn’t need to sleep at all but could only work out and be among all those talented and inspiring people all day long.
And I actually must tell more about this extraordinary group of people. Within the group are are so talented people that I can’t even say what they do; it’s too advanced and pro for me. But we have PHD students, designers, engineers, people with background in finance, advertisement, medicin, business, languages and programming. Some of them run their own companies, some are in the start up process. One is teaching in Harvard Business School. Another one moved from Taiwan, after having grown up in Japan, to the USA to study alone at the age of 14. Many have travelled the world and both lived, studied and worked abroad. The energy level of those people is amazing, and they are so enthusiastic and passionated about what they do.
I really am impressed and feel so privileged to have the opportunity to be part of this group.
But about today.
Today David King brought us into the world of negotiation where we made agreements, played games and solved cases. We did also watch The Office for educational purpose. He was a great speaker; fun and creative.
David Kelly came directly after his talk and gave us immediately a task for lunch-time: to prepare a lunch in 1 hour. The preparation included to decide what to do, go out and buy it and then cook for 15 people. We had restricted amount of money and had to do at least one salty dish and one sweet, and every dish had to include strawberries.
The results were following: pasta with parmesan, basilika and strawberries, couscous with chicken, vegetables, feta and strawberry vinager, fresh salat, greek apertizer with strawberry sause, strawberry cakes, chocolate dipped strawberries with whipped cream -and served with red wine.
This was quite amazing. It happened to be really a WOW-factor.
After having eaten the lunch we went through ideation, start-ups and entrepreneurship, went deep into our passions and came up with business ideas after only 40 min brainstorming and got once again to the core thing, and my absolute favourite: PASSION.
In the end of the day we got information for tomorrows case, but at 5:45 we have to be at Arlanda (which means a rise and shine at 3:30 for working out, which means it’s bed time no later than NOW (21:30)) to catch a flight somewhere to Europe. None of us know where we are going so it’s a total surprise. I have always wanted to do this -to step into an airplane (or an airport) without the slightest idea about the destination.
…or that was actually not totally the end of the day were we went for a afterwork in a bar in St. Eriksplan to sketch up some ideas for our final project -and when everyone (but boring healthy me) had a beer in hand there came up an idea. Just gotta love ideas, specially good ones. Good ideas increases heartbeat, excitement gets over the limit and the passion gets sky high -or even higher if possible.
I really think the feeling I have inside me right now is love.
I’m in love with life!
