 Today I finished the 9th training of the week, 50 km biking, and hungry as a wolf I went grocery shopping for coming week. It’s never a good idea to go shopping starving, and specially not when you have Saturday afternoon ahead and then a day off. But I still feel no need for sugar other than fruit sugar -and OMG what I look forward to eat all those tasty fruits I bought!

But this is what can be found in my fridge:

  • low fat kvarg (dairy, high in protein and low in fat and carbs. I use it to make smoothies and mix it with fruits, protein, water/milk, ice, bovete and coconut flakes. yammi)
  • cottage cheese
  • egg
  • chicken beans
  • raspberry jam (I use 1 tea spoon with my oatmeal every morning to get the sweet taste)
  • salmon
  • broccoli
  • cocktail tomatoes
  • carrots
  • teriyaki sauce
  • jalapenhos
  • sun-dried tomatoes
  • fruit juice
  • “havre” milk
  • mozzarella
  • sweet chili
  • salad
  • cucumber
  • onion
  • red pepper
  • pear
  • apple
  • nectarina
  • avocado
  • selleri
  • 2 boxes of Icelandic chocolate (there must be some challenge, or what?!)
  • 1 small bottle champagne

Those last two points will be used for gifts, or guests.

And then I have my price after good week -my fruit basket! Bananas, mango, more nectarine and CAQUI MOLE (e. soft persimmon)!

I really have not tasted caqui mole since in Brasil 2005 where I have only found the hard orange ones until now.  This is a celebration time!
